CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

We are excited to announce the SAINTCON Call for Volunteers process. We are looking for volunteers to help with the various aspects of the conference, and to get involved at many levels. We are looking for volunteers who are availabile at various times during the conference, including the days leading up to the conference for setup.

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering at SAINTCON is a fun opportunity for you to get involved in the Security Community, and participate at a level where you have an opportunity to work with some of the best security folks in the State of Utah, and beyond. Volunteers get free entry into the conference, and have an opportunity to get into exclusive events, trainings, and events which may be closed or limited to regular attendees. Your meals during the conference are also provided.

EXPECTATIONS

Volunteers will be provided and be expected to attend training regarding their area of responsibility, and be willing to commit to a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer time. Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:

• Registration Desk ( assisting with conference attendee registration and information booth questions )
• Conference Room Facilitators for Audio/Video ( assisting with room counts, A/V adjustments, and other room logistics )
• Village/Event Support and Staffing ( staff to assist attendees with various tasks they are doing in villages, or other events )
• Speaker Wrangling ( Introducing speakers, and ensuring they are in the room and speaking on time, and within their allotted time )
• Conference Logistics ( All of the things that make the conference work flawlessly )
• Setup/Teardown ( Building and destroying the conference )
