It&#8217;s so much <em>fun<\/em>, right? Right?! Do you know your TIA-568 A\/B standards? Oh boy, have we got the contest for you! Get ready to unleash your inner network cable maestro and test your RJ-45 crimping prowess in the <strong>LAN cable contest<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>YOUR MISSION<\/em><\/strong> should you choose to accept it, is to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>wire up and crimp jacks on both ends of a network cable <strong><em>as fast as you can<\/em><\/strong>, all while adhering to either the TIA-568 A or B standard (pick your poison, but <strong>no crossovers allowed!<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>When you think it&#8217;s correct, plug your cable into the RJ-45 jacks to test it.<\/li>\n<li>Once your <em>cable passes the test the timer stops<\/em> and your time is recorded.
