Brought to you by<\/small> In the Circuit Hacking Community, we will help you learn the design of digital circuits, and how to use tools and processes to decode the protocols common to modern devices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n There is an entire world of hardware to explore.\u00a0 We will make a deep-dive into the hacking of circuits available to all attendees of SAINTCON.<\/p>\n Analog circuits.\u00a0<\/strong> Through the use of pre-assembled minibadges, participants can learn how to design small circuits using analog components.\u00a0 RC time constants and transistors will be featured.\u00a0 The minibadges will be pre-assembled so as to lower the barrier to entry for newcomers. Station will also have a couple of oscilloscopes to show what is happening in their circuits, as well as to learn how to make pretty patterns by playing music.<\/span><\/p>\n Protocols.<\/strong>\u00a0 Via the use of a couple of laptops running some open source logic analyzers, users will be able to sniff the data streams of some devices to figure out what is going on.\u00a0 Featured will be SPI, I2C and new to SAINTCON this year, the commonly used vehicles, CAN buses.\u00a0 Users can take their knowledge to decode data and solve challenges or alter the stream to make the device work differently.\u00a0 Walkthrough to getting started would be available online, with various ‘choose your own adventure’ style jumping off points to deep dive into items of interest.<\/span><\/p>\n PCB\/component design.<\/strong>\u00a0 Examples of how PCBs are made and what various component types are will be displayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n We will have a MiniBadge available at our Community.<\/p>\n Details are still being worked out, but to collect our MiniBadge, come visit our booth for more details on how get this cool MiniBadge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
