A: Most of the events will be for everyone of all genders, there will be some that are women-only. We will provide information on our community webpage, on our community fliers and on our community signage so it\u2019s easy to see which events are geared to which groups.<\/p>\n
A. An OSINT exercise<\/strong> (Open Source Intelligence) is a cybersecurity activity where participants gather and analyze publicly available information\u2014like social media, websites, or public records\u2014to uncover insights or simulate threat scenarios. It’s often used to train teams on how attackers might exploit open data or to assess an organization\u2019s exposure online.<\/p>\n A. Come to our booth and find out the details but what we can tell you now is that everyone who finishes the exercise will be entered to win 1 of 6 prizes.\u00a0 Winners will be announced and prizes will be given out on Thursday, 10\/23 at 4:30 pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.<\/p>\n A. Prizes are:<\/p>\n A: No, but we know of a few groups we can point you towards if you\u2019re looking for additional communities and events after SAINTCON.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n See the booth schedule at the top of this page for more details.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n 1) How to network effectively and find mentors in their field<\/p>\n 2) Different areas of cybersecurity to help broaden attendees\u2019 horizons on what\u2019s possible for their careers<\/p>\n 3) Constructive advice to address issues and concerns relating to being a woman in the field of cybersecurity<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Tools in this community will all be interpersonal and career building skills<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Business cards<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n We are supporting the career growth of those either already in the field of cybersecurity or those just starting out<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Our goal is to help people thrive in their careers and as human beings. The people who are running our community are all very open to meeting new people and to helping them have the best experience possible. We will provide as many resources and connections as we can. We hope to have periodic speed networking events after SAINTCON is over as well, both in-person and virtually but we are not affiliated with any local or national Women in Cybersecurity groups.
