Have you ever tried to find a 5.25″ Floppy Disk lately? If you had to, would you know where to get one? Well this contest is for you! The SAINTCON Scavenger Hunt contest will test your patience, dumpster-diving, and old storage-unit scavenging skills.
Based loosely on a similar contest held in the past at DEF CON, this contest will test how well you can follow instructions, and what crazy and useful technology you can find.
Contest Rules:
The rules for the Scavenger Hunt are loosely defined, but strictly include the following:
Play the game ethically Which means that you should never steal, or acquire items you are legally entitled to.
Do NOT break any laws Breaking laws will drop your score, and could even disqualify you entirely.
TEAMWORK is allowed and even encouraged However there can only be one “Winner” of the game. Choose your friends wisely.
Valuable items need not be turned in for safe keeping. NVerifiable proof may be all we need.
No sharing items! We don’t want to see the same thing from two different people

The SAINTCON Scavenger Hunt admins reserve the right to disqualify and/or change scores of participants for any reason that upon our own judgement violate the game rules or participate in unprofessional conduct. We reserve this right without right of dispute or for any other reason we feel is appropriate or prudent.
Also be warned: We have ways of monitoring cheating, sharing of items, and other shenanigans that might go on. Get away with it… Good for you! Get caught, your score will suffer.
