ABOUT HACK-IN-THE-BOX
Hak-in-the-box is a temporary, pop-up hackerspace which runs during SAINTCON. It is done with the idea of promoting the after-hours work on Hackers Challenge, hardware hacking, and broadening the social reach of SAINTCON attendees. It will be held nightly during the week of SAINTCON.
HITB HISTORY
Traditionally HITB is arranged and conducted by members of the security community, and is held at an offsite location. It has also only been loosely affiliated with the conference and privately run. It has become a popular place to be in the evenings and has grown in popularity year over year.
HITB has a long history of collecting donations for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This year is no different, and to encourage you to donate, @d4rkmatt3r is giving JESTER BADGES to everyone who donates (while supplies last).
