SAINTCON CONTEST

Tamper Evident

If a container or object is “Tamper Evident” it is designed to make it obvious if someone has opened or modified it.  Tamper Evident seals, and devices we rely on are like any other security control, they have vulnerabilities.  This Tamper Evident Contest uses this understanding to provide a physical security challenge for conference attendees.

This year, we are ramping up the tamper evident challenge! There will be several activities available this year with mini challenges at the booth for anyone who stops by. For the main challenge, sign up at the booth and receive the challenge box.

Scenario

One of our agents at F.I.B has messed up. They left physical evidence behind linking their involvement while completing their mission. F.I.B has intercepted the evidence package before it was sent to a lab for analysis. Your mission is to break into this package, replace the evidence, and get out undetected. This mission must be completed on time before it is realized that the package is missing. You will find more mission details and specifics with the package. Good luck…

How To Play

  • Contest Begins:

    Tuesday October 25, 2022 at 1:00p MDT

Stop by the booth and bypass one of the offered tamper evident seals. Once completed, sign up for the main competition and you will receive a challenge box. The objective of the game is to reach the center of the box undetected.
  • Contest Ends

    Thursday October 27, 2022 at 4:30p MDT

Game Rules

  • Get in undetected and leave no trace
  • In case of a tie, speed will be the deciding factor
  • Don’t destroy game materials. It defeats the purpose of the challenge anyway and points will be subtracted
  • Teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, but there can only be one winner
  • Return your box even if you weren’t successful
